 Rich Juane

Juane is a typical food wrapped in bijao leaf from the Peruvian jungle, which you can find in restaurants, as well as in small street stalls. Normally you can find traditional juanes (made of rice with chicken), but few know the different juanes that exist in our jungle.

Juane of rice.

The traditional juane that is prepared in the festivities of San Juan. Juane is made from rice, chicken stuffing and other components such as olives and eggs, apparently it is originally from the jungle.

Juane of yuca

A delicious juane, it has ground yucca instead of rice and is stuffed with fish, it can be any large fish with soft meat, but mostly Paiche is used.

Juane Wasp

In this type of juane, rice with ground pork is added and with this the dough is prepared, filling it with a prey of fried chicken and its inevitable olive.

Nina juane

In this type of juane it has pieces of chicken with beaten egg, this replaces the rice and all this wrapped in a leaf.

Chuchulli juane

This one is very similar to the traditional juane, it has rice, olives, eggs and chicken giblets.

Sara juane

This delicious juane has raw ground peanuts instead of rice, ground corn with chicken broth.

My eating habits.

For breakfast I have coffee with milk or oatmeal, accompanied by fresh bread, after a few weeks we are going to have breakfast with chapo (blended ripe banana).

For lunch, there are many types of dishes that I eat, usually like red chicken noodles, although I actually like lomo saltado better.

For dinner, I eat just a little of the leftover lunch, or just eat something light.
